Mary Anne Sedey obtained a seven-figure settlement of an age discrimination claim for a St. Louis executive. The employee, who was in his fifties, was terminated after 25 years of stellar performance, supposedly because of a reorganization of the company’s operations. The settlement followed the filing of a charge of discrimination with the EEOC and the Missouri Commission on Human Rights before the filing of a lawsuit in court.
